● Eyry’s Abbe number is 36. This gives a low chromatic aberration and, therefore, sharp vision that is rich in contrast.

● The specific gravity is 1.41. The combination of the material’s high index and low Specific Gravity is so lightweight that many of your customers will not even notice they are wearing glasses!

● Thin yet strong and elastic. While ‘thin’ may be synonymous with ‘fragile’ for many people, this is certainly not the case with Eyry 1.70. Tests show that the elasticity and strength of Eyry 1.70 is significantly larger than that of standard or alternative high index plastic lens materials. Eyry easily withstands forces of up to 60 kilograms, making it eminently suitable for application in rimless and nylor frames.
