Advanced Edger AE-3000 and Global Tracer GT-3000 - The best combination for the best performance ever


Advanced Edger AE-3000  

AE-3000 should be the core of edging system in intra-shop network concept.
Other tracers can be connected to AE-3000, because it has two types of communication format, HOYA Format and OMA Format.
By using RS-485 for communication port, communication among several edgers is allowed.

Edges every type of lens, except for grooving and polishing of Mineral, can be edged with 4 types of Diamond Wheel.

3. Chamfering and Grooving
Chamfering and grooving is possible by twin-spindle method in which each procedure is independent.

 

4. Storage of Edging Data

Similar to HELP edging-system, storage of edging error record and lens shape data can be stored.
500job-data can be stored with Smart Media (16MB standard).
Large capacity of Smart Media allows up to 1,000job-data.


5. Easy to Operate

Clear vision with color LCD.
Lenticular lens and E-line multifocal lens can be beveled in automatic edging mode.
No need in exchange of lens holders and containers, because only leap system (oscillating type) for half-eye frame is adapted as lens holder. (Flat 20x28, Bevel 22x28).

 

6. Easy Maintenance

Smart troubleshooting is available, because debug and data recover based on recorded LOGs are possible even after edging.
Programs are easily updated by external PC or by exchanging Smart Medias.
Separate detachable outer cover provides shorter maintenance time.
Each cover can be detached solely without detachment of the next cover.

 

7. High Edging Speed and High Edging Accuracy

Edging speed has improved with new Electro-deposited Roughing Wheel
Edging accuracy has improved with lens carriage linear motion system, calculation of circumference length and 3-axis micro-step control drive.

 

8. High Waterproof

Waterproof function has improved by separating water tank and lens-box and by storing only lens shaft part in the water tank.

High measurement accuracy and large number of frame measurement are available by improving measurement part.

Stylus Weight Balancing System decreases the tracing pressure from 50g (conventional) to 25g.
Movable range of stylus in vertical direction increases from 20.5mm to 23.5mm.

 

Operation of pattern- / lens- tracing becomes easy by one-touch system-holder and pop-up system-stylus rod.
Pattern- and lens- measurements are automatically distinguished.
Information is clearly indicated by a 2-lines display type LCD.

 

Program updates from external personal computer is available.
